“Pink Nation” is the creation of artist Lwin Oo Maung. The Yangonite is a well-established performance artist of the Myanmar scene since 2009 and has participated in exhibitions in Malaysia, Thailand, and Sri Lanka. Searching for inspiration he has resettled to Taunggyi in 2015, where he began writing songs. Like with his performance art, also Lwin Oo Maung’s music offers new perspectives. His compositions are brought to life with the experienced support of band members Zaw Lynn, Thura, Mhn Dei, Aun Pha and C Kyaw. The first album of “Pink Nation” cultivates and advances an ensemble of Myanmar stylistic elements and international influences into an exceptional experience for your ears.
